This policy explains what information I collect when you use this website — in particular when you request a fixed-price quote or a free website growth report — and how I use, store and protect it.

Who I am

This website is operated by Jeremy (“I”, “me” or “my”), who offers web design, development and SEO services from Yorkshire and works remotely. For any privacy questions, just contact me. I am the data controller for the personal information described below.

Information I collect

I only collect the information you choose to give me through the forms on this site. Depending on which path you take, that may include:

When you build a quote or request a growth report

• Your first name
• Your email address
• Your website address (for the website growth report and any competitor analysis)
• The website addresses of up to three competitors, if you choose to add them
• The options you select while building your quote — site type, page count, add-ons such as SEO, copywriting or hosting, and the resulting price

When you ask me to call you back

• Your phone number
• The best time for me to call

When you send a general enquiry

• Your name, email address and message
• If it’s a web project: an optional website URL, an indicative budget, what you need help with, and a short summary of your project

I do not ask for, or intentionally collect, any special category data (such as health, ethnicity or financial account details) through this website.

How I use your information

I use the information you provide to:

• Generate and save your fixed-price quote or growth report
• Email you a copy of your quote or report
• Respond to your enquiry and, if you ask, call you back to discuss your project
• Carry out any work you go on to commission (for example, competitor analysis or SEO setup)
• Keep records of quotes, enquiries and projects

I do not send marketing emails or make sales calls unless you ask me to, and I never sell your information.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, I rely on the following legal bases:

• Your consent — when you submit a form to receive a quote, report or callback.
• Taking steps to enter into a contract — when you request a quote or ask to proceed with work.
• Legitimate interests — keeping reasonable business records and responding to enquiries.

How your information is stored

Quotes, enquiries and lead details are stored securely in my backend database (hosted by Convex) and accessible only to me through a password-protected admin area. Emails are handled by my email provider. I keep your information only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or project and to meet my legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted.

Sharing with third parties

I keep the number of third parties to a minimum. The service providers that may process your information on my behalf include my hosting and database provider, my email provider, and standard web infrastructure. These providers act on my instructions only. I may also disclose information where required to do so by law.

Analytics and advertising

This site may use analytics and advertising conversion tracking (for example, to measure the effectiveness of Google Ads) so I can understand how people find and use the site. Where this involves cookies or similar technologies, they are used in line with the relevant guidance and, where required, your consent.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
• Ask me to correct anything that is inaccurate
• Ask me to delete your information
• Object to or restrict how I use it
• Withdraw any consent you have given

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
