Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

These terms set out how I work and what you can expect when you request a quote, a website growth report, or any of the design, development and SEO services offered through this site. By requesting a quote or commissioning work, you agree to these terms.

1. About me

These services are provided by Jeremy (“I”, “me” or “my”), who offers web design, development and SEO services from Yorkshire and works remotely. You can contact me at any time.

2. Quotes and pricing

  • Prices shown on this site are fixed for the options you select, and the quote you build is the price — there are no hidden costs added later for the items quoted.
  • Each quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is generated. After that, prices may change.
  • Some items are priced “POA” (price on application) or depend on details I confirm with you — for example, images sourced from stock libraries, which vary in cost depending on the source.
  • A quote is an estimate based on the information you provide. If the scope of the work changes, I will agree any revised price with you before continuing.

3. The growth report

The free website growth report is provided for general guidance only. It is intended to highlight potential improvements to your site’s SEO and lead generation. It does not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic or business result, and you should treat it as a starting point rather than a formal audit.

4. Booking and payment

  • Work begins once we’ve agreed the spec and you’ve paid the deposit.
  • For website builds, a 50% deposit is required to start work. The remaining 50% is due once the site is complete on the development server and you’re ready to take it live.
  • A pay-in-full option may be offered at a discount, as shown in your quote.
  • Ongoing services (such as hosting, care plans or auto-blogging) are billed on a recurring basis as described in your quote and continue until cancelled.

5. The process

Once work is agreed, a typical project runs as follows:

  • We agree the spec and site map together.
  • I create the visual designs based on our discussions, so you have a real say in how the site looks.
  • You get access to a client portal where you can review designs, upload content and images, request changes and track progress.
  • I build the site and we take it live when you’re happy.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Providing content, images and feedback in good time so the project can progress.
  • Making sure any materials you supply (text, images, logos) are yours to use and don’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • Providing accurate information when requesting a quote.

7. Revisions and support

You can review and request changes to designs and page structure through your client portal during the build. After launch, you get 30 days of free support — if anything isn’t working quite right, I’ll put it straight at no extra cost. Additional work requested after sign-off is charged at a reasonable rate, agreed with you first.

8. Ownership

Once your website is paid for in full, you own the website and everything related to it. Until then, all work remains my property. Third-party components (such as fonts, stock images or plugins) remain subject to their own licences.

9. Hosting

Hosting is your choice — you can keep your own hosting or move it to mine. Where you take a hosting or care plan with me, it runs on a recurring basis until you cancel.

10. Cancellation

If you cancel a project after work has started, the deposit covers work already carried out and is non-refundable. Any further work completed up to the point of cancellation will be invoiced. You can cancel recurring services (hosting, care plans, auto-blogging) at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

11. Liability

I take care to deliver work to a high standard, but I can’t guarantee specific business outcomes such as search rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent permitted by law, my total liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount you have paid me for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Privacy

I handle your personal information in line with my Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in effect when you accept your quote.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

15. Contact
